From the annual collaboration project – this vintage in 2018 with Ben McNab making the wine with Gabrielle and Braden Crosby of OGS as vignerons. Noticeably light in colour – a very pale, translucent ruby in the glass, but with no lack of presence to the aromatics. The best part of this Pinot – bright with whole bunch spice and perfume, plum and cherry fruit purity and plenty of cinnamon, jalapeno and balsam on the nose. Gentle into the palate, light bodied, precise and showing a fruit purity not masked by heavy extraction. Tannin is there, but supple and delicate. Buoyant acidity and still spicy and nutty – some good oak showing in the edges, and with a lovely, glossy texture at the finish. 91pts
