Brimming with golden stonefruit, marmalade and pink grapefruit and baking spice flavours, plus a suggestion of the dry tannin of red apple skin. Acidity is moderate, the oak element subdued but toasty, and the palate has a lovely, waxy textural quality. An intriguing juxtaposition of oyster shell and nougat notes at the finale.
