A pale lemon yellow in the glass, with intriguing aromatics of hay, lemon, almond, white pepper, apricot, jalapeno and orange blossom. Medium bodied. Elegant and focussed through the palate where a subtle salinity meets lime zest and pink apple over layers of spice and honeycomb. Widening into the back of the palate where a waxy texture and some pithy phenolics add more interest to an already intricate wine. A fresh and persistent finish. Tasted with some salty feta and a ripe tomato salad – a great food wine. 91pts
