Pale lemon-gold in the glass, with an intense complexity on the nose, not pulling any punches. A struck-match reductivity gives way to ripe peach, grapefruit, green olive, lemon rind, baguette and orange blossom aromas. Concentrated, youthful and tightly coiled, showing smoky oak barrel flavours and tannin, carried by a deliciously peppery acidity. As you progress from the pure latency of the opening, there’s a mealy, savoury texture that envelops in a lush, mouthfilling depth.
