From Marlborough fruit – a light straw colour in the glass, with a vibrantly aromatic nose. Perfumed with mandarin, lime zest, nectarine, ginger and honeysuckle floral notes. Off-dry and light-medium bodied. Despite several years in bottle, a bracing acidity still leads the way, giving great flow through the ripe, plush fruit. On the palate are flavours of cantaloupe, apple, kumquat and lemongrass – fresh and tropical. Crafted with an eye to food matching, the balance of sweet and acid give this wine real scope when on your dinner table. The finish is succulent and mouthfilling. 93pts.
