A Marlborough wine, from Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir. Pale and delicate pink in the glass, brimming with delicious aromatics of raspberry, redcurrant and white peach on the nose. Dry, with a light and delicious apple-skin fruit tannin, and with juicy, vibrant acidity. Ripe fruit fills the palate, with summery flavours of strawberry shortcake and watermelon. Bright, mouthwatering and very more-ish. More elegance and poise than is found in many rosé, and an excellent food match. 92pts.
Arrived too late for our Top 10 Tasting earlier this year, but this would have made that list – recommended.
