From Cairnmuir Road in Bannockburn. Pale lemon-green in the glass, with an elegant nose fragranced with succulent mandarin, blanched almond, lime, apple, ginger and elderflower. Zesty acidity is focussed, intense, with a counterpoint of 45g/l residual sugar – medium/sweet. A real pop of ripeness across the palate with passionfruit, melon, apricot and lemon curd. Concentrated, generous and with a youthful tension. At the back of the palate, lies a luscious texture, plush and enveloping – a nice contrast to the initial crunch of fruit. The finish is long, sweet and mouthwatering. 93pts.
