From the excellent 2019 vintage. Filled with aromas of nectarine, lemon, roast cashew, satsuma, nutmeg and yellow apple. Bone dry and fruit forward, with plenty of acidity to drive through the palate. Stonefruit and baking spice notes appear and are underlined with some beautifully integrated oak. Good palate concentration and weight. A creamy, silken texture brings it all together. Dry, elegant finish. A polished expression of Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay. 92pts
