From one of the pioneer vineyards on Felton Road in Bannockburn, with Pinot Noir fruit grown specifically for this rosé. I’m sure I’m not the only one who likes their rosé a year or two in bottle before drinking? An eye-catching pale salmon pink in the glass; with lively, salivating aromas of redcurrant, rosehip, cherry and red apple.
Quite floral and with herbal greens – sorrel, rocket, in the background. Gently spiced, with a minerality that balances out the succulence and combines with the medium acidity to give a nice line through what is a vibrant, complex example. A bright, fabulous food wine, enjoyed with breads and roasted vegetables. 92pts.
