A Riesling made with hand-picked fruit from their Te Muna Road vineyard in Martinborough. A very pale steely-green colour in the glass. Aromas of lime, green apple, nashi pear, clementine and honeydew melon mix with white pepper, musk and honeysuckle on the nose. Medium weight, where a balance of plush fruit sweetness and a shimmering line of acidity has the palate falling into place. A touch of talc shows in the chalky minerality mid-palate. Clean, fresh and mouth-watering – drinks well now and has the structure in place to age well too. 91pts
