A sweet wine from Marlborough pioneering producers Forrest – winner of a rare Double Gold at the NZIWS in 2025. A pale, intense gold colour in the glass – just a touch of green at the rim. It has excellent varietal typicity as well as that toffee and tar scent of a great sticky on the nose. Lime, orange, apple and apricot flavours turned into that pie, marmalade and curd direction. Decadent and concentrated with the fruit sweetness balanced by zesty acidity. A clean finish is both unctuous and refreshing at once. 93pts
