A blend of Pinot Noir from Luna’s vineyards in Martinborough. A pale ruby colour in the glass. The perfume is filled with sweet red fruit – redcurrant, raspberry and cherry, with that distinctive earthy, ‘Martinborough rare steak’ note that identifies it’s origin. Light bodied and quite modern in tone – with less extraction brings smoother tannin and vibrant acidity, heightening that fruit sweetness. Youthful and packed with energy, there is also a fine seam of savoury, smoky elements that add spice and complexity to that juice. A nice note of dry bitterness at the end, adds to a persistent finish. 91pts
