The Champion Wine of Show and Chardonnay Trophy-winning wine from the New Zealand International Wine Show in 2020. After a few years in bottle, it is a light golden-green in the glass, with an opulent bouquet of lemon curd, cashew nut, grapefruit, nectarine, tarragon and a flinty, smoky minerality. Striking acidity still rules the roost, but that savoury note has built and sits as an excellent foil to the juicy stonefruit. With power on full throttle; yet with an elegance from that balanced structure. The oak, the creamy texture and the butterscotch accents all contribute in their layers as the palate opens.
