Briskly acidic, with fabulous line and length through the juicy, concentrated palate. Savoury elements underline the ripe red berry fruit, with dried bay, soy, tobacco and autumn leaves. A toasty spice and balsam note hints at some appealing whole bunch compexity. An elegance and purity throughout. Tannins are relaxed, ripe and supple. A lovely balance between depth, complexity and youthful vibrancy. Deliciously drinkable now, but well structured and crafted to last another 8-10 years. 94pts.
