A pale light yellow, showing exhuberant notes of lime zest and chamomile, with a savoury undertow of fresh green herbs, tomato leaf and sliced fennel. Taut and tangy fruits on the palate, starting with blackcurrant and passion fruit and heading to richer depth of pineapple, white peach and greengage. Delicately balanced, with a medium acidity, a svelte, curvaceous texture and a saline spine of minerality. Dry but with the ripe juiciness of the fruit, makes for a mouthwatering mouthfeel. A complex, lingering finish. 92pts. Drunk with a meal of grilled fish marinated in thai herbs – perfect.
