Tasted for “Pinot Gris Day’ on 17th. A single vineyard wine, coming from the L’Attitude Vineyard, situated in the Pisa sub-region of Central Otago. A pale gold and green colour in the glass. Lemon peel, ginger, mandarin, cucumber, honey on toast, breadcrumb, macadamia on the nose. The palate is light-bodied, dry and youthfully tense. Not reliant on concentration for impact, there is a lovely flow and sense of space as you travel through the middle. Some sapidity emerges, with green herbals and a ‘tonic’ edge too. A little baking spice on the finish. 89pts
