A white wine from Hawke’s Bay, and one that did much to bolster the region’s Chardonnay credentials – culminating in an award for ‘Best International Chardonnay’ for the 2021 bottling at the International Wine Challenge (IWC). Sealed under screwcap.
Medium gold in colour. Aromas of melon and peach with hint of lanolin. Medium to light mouth feel. Fresh vibrant acidity balances well with apricot stone and then more tropical fruit flavours. A lingering finish with slight hint of bitterness and tart acidity. Definitely time to drink up if you have any left in the cellar. 89pts
