A deep, inky ruby-black colour in the glass. The perfume hangs on an equally dark melange of plum, bramble, pepper, cherry and liquorice, with a smoky spiciness. Medium-full bodied, with a generous, dense core of charred oak, vibrant acidity and grippy tannin. Plenty of interest unfolds through the broad palate, with layers of savoury charcuterie, dried herb, cloves and cinnamon and incense notes.
