A dark ruby colour in the glass, with those signature savoury aromas of the region – earth, mushroom, meatiness, as well as much more lifted and brighter notes of strawberry, cherry and orange peel. Medium bodied, with a core that has elements of confident, toasty oak and a bright vibrato of acidity. Richly concentrated with a succulence to the varietal flavours of the fruit, but also that nice savoury counterbalance to it with mocha, tapenade, peat and minerality.
