There\u2019s rarely a wine from winemaker Marcus Wright that fails to deliver far beyond the price point you\u2019re buying it at. Again, this has plenty of typical rose petal florals on the nose, together with a subtle petrol waft. It\u2019s softly sweet but also has a lovely dry and waxy concentration to the fruit. Lychee, but with some feijoa and a little savoury roasted fennel and apple. A breezy acidity and a hint of spice (and oak?) come through towards the end.
