Elegant and subtle on the nose, with aromas of white peach, elderflower, almond, grapefruit and, gooseberry. Linear, with crisp acidity, also showing the slightly tannic pithiness of apple peel. Palate is clean, long and beautifully integrated. A distinctive herbal edge \u2013 something like tarragon and chamomile. The excellence of this wine really hangs on the texture, however. Rich, plump and well-rounded, it coats the mouth but still ends at the back with a fresh, slightly mineral salinity. Lengthy, refreshing finish.
