A deep, bold purple in the glass, with seductive and intensely varietal aromas \u2013 there is no mistaking this as anything other than Gimblett Gravels Syrah. White pepper, bramble and damson on the nose, with a vibrant violet floral lift. Rich, powerful and concentrated, but with plenty of fruit-forward impact and appeal. Tannins have grip but are supple and ripe. Acidity is moderate, giving balance and length. The palate is plush and drips with dark fruit flavours, underlined with peppery spice and savoury, graphite notes. Minimal oak influence.
