Dry, graceful and more reserved on the palate, with bramble, liquorice, redcurrant and mocha flavours that fan out gently from a deep, smoky core. More savoury – wet earth, pepper and cinnamon – as the balance between some svelte tannins and a medium acidity carry the wine onwards.
