This is a \u2018natural\u2019 wine: handmade and unfiltered \u2013 a cloudy, soft burgundy brick colour in the glass. Fragrance of damp earth, leaves and elder florals on the nose. The palate is intensely concentrated \u2013 red fruits of cranberry, cherry and raspberry. Spicy with nutmeg, cloves and leather.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-07680c5\" data-id=\"07680c5\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6d57a1a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6d57a1a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A salinity that hints at wet stone, green olives and is layered with more \u2018savoury\u2019 characters like prosciutto, mushroom and smoky peat tones. Really complex and slightly perplexing wine. Deserves decanting and staying with over a few hours \u2013 the wine keeps shifting and evolving. Probably the least \u2018straightforward\u2019 New Zealand wine I\u2019ve had in a long time.
