A golden yellow in the glass, edged with a lemon- green hue. Full and open, the nose has a smoky, reductive flintiness, with grapefruit, nectarine and roast hazelnut. Full bodied, concentrated and intense on the palate \u2013 cut with a swathe of lovely acid tension. Satisfyingly deep – an array of ripe flavours of stone fruit, nougat and lemon curd sit in the core, but surrounded by layers of cr\u00e8me brulee texture, nutty oak influence and unfolding spice. Coming together with finesse in a long, sumptuous finish.
