Hawke\u2019s Bay Sav is a different beast to the trailblazing one from Marlborough, with a twist on flavours and style. I\u2019ve had a few just recently and liked them &#8211; had another one tonight.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-5f6fc0f elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"5f6fc0f\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-5cb2ae0\" data-id=\"5cb2ae0\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d9bd76c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d9bd76c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Part of a superb vintage and hailing from vineyards across Hawke\u2019s Bay, this is a very pale yellow in the glass. Bright and appetisingly aromatic with a bouquet of orange flower, capsicum, nettle and fresh mown grass. Medium-bodied, crisp and showing lemongrass, passionfruit, lime zest and guava flavours on the palate. A portion of barrel-ferment, and extended time on lees has added texture, complexity and nutmeg seasoning without dampening the freshness.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-2c9cee6\" data-id=\"2c9cee6\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-87dbd98 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"87dbd98\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A layer of oyster shell mineral and savouriness balances well with the fraction of residual sugar but the acidity gives it all great line, and decent length at the finish. Not an overtly intricate drop of wine, but definitely not your standard supermarket savvy either.
