The Ten Acre Pinot Noir is sourced from a single vineyard in the Gibbston Valley sub-region of Central Otago, known for one of the coolest microclimate in the area. A rich, dark ruby colour in the glass. Quite floral and spicy in the bouquet, which hints as some whole-bunch winemaking, but is also an expression of where it was grown. Blueberry, red cherry, cranberry and boysenberry fruits jostle with thyme, pink peppercorn then lilac and violets florals. Already well-presented and integrated, with a breezy acidity and fine tannin. There\u2019s a sense of both energy and drive as well as silky texture smoothing and coating the palate.
