Gew\u00fcrz means spicy so the grape name literally means \u2018spicy traminer\u2019. A light, intense gold colour in the glass. The perfume is exotic and inviting, with lashings of floral notes that start with honeysuckle, rose petal and elderflower. Plenty of juicy fruit too, with clementine, lychee,\u00a0pineapple, ginger and lemon honey. Rich and textural, the contrast between ripe fruit and brisk acidity gives energy and flow in the palate. A touch of savoury shows with herbal, fennel and toasted spices.
