This Hawke\u2019s Bay Syrah is made from fruit off the Estate\u2019s Te Awanga vineyards.\u00a0An inky and dark purple colour in the glass. The note is lively and juicy, with blueberry, boysenberry, damson plum, liquorice, white pepper, vanilla and violet floral notes. Lighter on the palate than that depth of colour and bombastic nose suggests, but with good concentration of fruit flavours framed with toasty oak.
