A white wine from Waiheke Island in the Hauraki Gulf near Auckland. A mid-weight golden-green in the glass – showing some depth of colour with age. The bouquet is quite tropical and bold, with ripe fruit, sweetcorn, vanilla and cashew nut aromas. Richly concentrated with a statement of oak influence that just survives on the right side of over-dominance. Weight and power through the mid-palate, with plush fruit and toasted spice flavours.
