Unfiltered, it is a dense, opaque dark burgundy colour in the glass. The perfume shows dark cherry, toasted middle eastern spices, plum, rosehip, chocolate gateau, blueberry and savoury notes of tapenade, autumn leaves and charred oak. Rich, concentrated and dense, with tannins that are lengthy and smooth. Acidity adds bite and direction. The fruit has a little crunch and adds succulence and lift through the mid-palate.
