A white wine made by GroCo – the company name of the Gisborne Wine Growers Co-operative, representing over thirty local wine growers. Winemakers Mark Thompson and Anita Ewart-Croy make the wines at GisVin – an independent winery in Gisborne. A very pale steely green colour in the glass. Varietally-pure aromas of lemon, grapefruit, green apple, peach and lime juice, with subtle floral top notes on the nose. The palate is zesty and dry but generous. The saline acidity brightens the citrus notes, and there is such balance through the mid-palate.
