Excellent varietal typicity to the perfume, with cassis, plum and blackberry supported by wet tarseal, black pepper, eucalypt and chocolate. A delicacy as you approach the palate, with balance and a fresh acidity before the underlying power swoops through. A decent grip of tannin in this young wine, providing spine upon which the lush fruit blooms and layers of savoury, spice and some silky texture develop as you go through.
