As this producer has shown before, they\u2019re not shy with oak, but handle it very elegantly, remaining on the balanced side of overtness. Toasty, smoky even – with a spicy nuttiness. Breezing along on a zesty acidity, the fruit sits up and has a fresh, green, juicy quality. Tarragon, salted caramel and orange peel also feature in my tasting notes.
